In 2019, he and his wife finally opened Aleppo Sweets in Providence! 🥧 Their baklava is the best I’ve had on the East Coast — all made fresh by the chef himself. Authentic Middle Eastern flavors! You can pick your favorites from the counter and have them boxed. 🫓 They offer a variety of generous mezze options. The hummus and labneh are classics, but the baba ghanoush is truly outstanding — a blend of eggplant, tahini, lemon, and spices that’s both rich and refreshing. 🥙 Fatayer is like a Middle Eastern meat pie — both the cheese and pepper & lamb versions are delicious. 🍖 You can’t go wrong with their kebabs! A must-try. The chicken shawarma wrap is flavorful and satisfying. ☕️ They also serve Turkish coffee in traditional small cups, along with specialty teas. The best part?
