Azuki π£ - My Absolute Favorite Japanese Restaurant in San Diego!
As a Japanese food lover, Iβve tried many Japanese restaurants in San Diego, including several Omakase experiences. But the one I keep coming back to is Azuki in downtown! β€οΈ Their ingredients are super fresh, and the quality of the fish is excellent (I once had a stomachache after eating at another Omakase place, so Iβm extra careful about freshness now!). π Location: 2321 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101 Here are some of my favorite dishes: β Kobe Roll πππππ This is their signature sushi roll! π£ It contains black tiger shrimp and avocado, topped with Wagyu beef and truffle garlic aioli. It literally melts in your mouthβso flavorful and tender! β Salmon Four Ways π£ ππππ This dish lets you try four different types of salmon: π Classic Salmon: Balanced fat content, sweet and fresh π Salmon Toro: The fattiest part, rich and buttery π King Salmon: Thicker texture, very satisfying π Ocean Trout: Firmer and lighter than salmon, less fatty Perfect for anyone who wants to explore different flavors! β Uni Toast πππππ This is my absolute favorite! π Toasted bread topped with sea urchin, chopped toro, prosciutto, and truffle garlic aioli. The combination is incredibly rich and delicious! The only downside is the portionβitβs just two small slices, never enough! β Chirashi Bowl ππππ If youβve already ordered sushi, you might skip this one since the ingredients are similar. But itβs still delicious! π The bowl includes toro, salmon, fish roe, uni, and more. Itβs packed with fresh toppings and offers good value for the price. The average cost per person is around $100. While itβs not the cheapest option, the quality and taste make it totally worth it! π If youβre in San Diego and love Japanese food, you have to give Azuki a try. Iβve recommended it to so many friends, and everyone has enjoyed it! π #SanDiegoFood #JapaneseCuisine #AzukiSushi #FoodDiary #SushiLover #FreshIngredients #FoodieLife
