🦀 Baltimore’s Super Delicious Blue Crabs – Worth the Trip!
We specially planned a day trip from Washington DC to Baltimore – and I have to admit, a big reason was to try Maryland’s famous blue crabs! 🚗💨 At L.P. Steamers, the crabs are sold by size and priced per piece (listed on a chalkboard 🖤). Since we came all this way, we went for the largest size – and it was totally worth it! 🏆 The crabs were much bigger than what I usually find in supermarkets, with plump, sweet, and tender meat. The roe was minimal, but the flavor was incredible. I happily devoured two whole crabs by myself! 😋 We also ordered the fried seafood sampler – a popular choice here – which included shrimp 🍤, fish 🐟, oysters 🦪, scallops, clams, and one crab cake. We added a homemade coleslaw for +$3 (it was tasty but gone in two bites!), and an extra crab cake just to be safe. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, though the crab cake was a bit oversalted – maybe the chef got a little heavy-handed that day? 😅 📍 L.P. Steamers 1100 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD If you’re a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit. Perfect for cracking crabs, enjoying the vibe, and treating yourself to a classic Baltimore experience! #BaltimoreEats #BlueCrab #SeafoodLover #MarylandCrab #FoodieAdventure #DCtoBmore #CrabFeast
