Baltimore Korean Food Guide | Tried & Tested by a K-Food Lover!
As a long-time Korean food enthusiast, I’ve rounded up my top spots in Baltimore – some hits, some misses. Here’s the real deal! 1️⃣ Kong Pocha 🍚🍗 My absolute favorite – perfect for late-night cravings! Bibimbap (add beef!) – 🔥 So flavorful and satisfying! Pork Kimchi Soup – Rich, spicy, and comforting 🥘 Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken – Crispy outside, juicy inside 🍗 Kimchi Pancake – Good, but the seafood pancake is better 🦞 Tteokbokki – Chewy and well-seasoned 👌 Side dishes – Their kimchi and tofu are amazing! 😭 Note: Delivery can be oily – dine in for the best experience! 2️⃣ Honey Pig 🐷 A chain spot near Ellicott City – sadly overhyped. Tofu Soup – Disappointing 😑 Bibimbap – Actually pretty good and filling! BBQ – Just okay – not as tasty as Chow Sun . Verdict: Skip unless you’re desperate for K-BBQ. 3️⃣ Shin Chon 🐙🥩 Highly recommended! Octopus & Beef Hot Pot – Packed with flavor, huge portion, and so satisfying! Perfect for groups or a hearty meal 🍲 Baltimore’s Korean food scene has its gems – Kong Pocha and Shin Chon are worth the trip! 🚗💨 #BaltimoreEats #KoreanFood #DMVFood #BmoreFoodie #KBBQ #StudyInUSA
