Bambolina – A Delicious Surprise in Salem! 🍜

After spending half a day exploring the Peabody Essex Museum, we were starving — and luckily we found Bambolina, right near the museum entrance! 🏛️➡️🍴 This cool spot offers two cuisines under one roof: Italian classics 🍝 and Japanese-inspired ramen and gyoza 🍥. We tried: 3 bowls of ramen 🍜: Rich, flavorful broth with thick Japanese-style noodles, generous slices of chashu pork, and a perfect soft-boiled egg. So comforting! Pappardelle pasta 🍷: Braised beef ragout in red wine sauce, served with wide noodles and a hint of cilantro paste. Deliciously tangy — but the portion was huge! Recommend sharing if you’re not super hungry. Gelato trio 🍧: They were out of strawberry, so we got chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate was rich and slightly bitter (in a good way!), and the vanilla was light and not too sweet. Definitely house-made! Pistachio cheesecake 🌰💚: Absolutely incredible! Light, fluffy, not too heavy — with a strong pistachio flavor. Highly recommend! We also peeked at the pizza at the next table — baked in a wood-fired oven, irregularly shaped with a slightly charred crust. Looked amazing! 🍕🔥 A perfect meal after a museum visit — whether you’re craving Italian or Japanese, Bambolina delivers great flavor and generous portions. Bambolina 📍 Location: Near PEM entrance 💵 Price: Moderate 🎯 Perfect for: Lunch, dinner, pasta & ramen lovers #Salem #Bambolina #Ramen #ItalianFood #FoodReview #SalemMA #TravelFoodie
