This was the first time I went to the restaurant, and I thought it was going to be a boring old fashion pizza place. Right as I walked in, I could tell it was going to be special. The pizza makes me think I'm in Italy. If I could only eat pizza for the rest of my life, I would eat Bambolina’s Beef and Blue pizza. I sat right next to the brick oven used to create and could see the chef making my pizza with love and effort. The waiter was very nice and explained to me what's on the pizza I got. When the pizza was brought out, I could smell the warm mozzarella. The fresh ingredients made the pizza taste like no other pizza. They get the flour from Italy and the mozzarella is fresh. The open design makes you feel welcome d and like home. There are all different types of tables and seats, everyone will feel comfortable eating here. It's a perfect place to have a business meeting or a first date. The gorgeous glowing lights are at just the right brightness to light up the restaurant and not your eyes. Usually restaurant bathrooms are filthy, but the bathrooms here are clean and private. The soap smells like a bouquet of flowers. Some people complain it takes too long for the pizza to come out, but if you want a quick boring pizza...
Read moreWe stopped in here on a quick hunger whim. My family and I had a craving for pizza. Most of the pizza we eat is from South Florida and frankly it is not up to par with northeastern pizza. Being born and growing up in New York in my younger days I have my pizza standards.
What has really amazed me and I still can't believe it, my favorite pizza here is a cheeseless pizza. It has an abundance of really wonderfully tasting tomato sauce some fresh thinly sliced garlic and oregano and this pizza is outstanding. What really sets this off from a Florida pizza is the dough. It just cannot be replicated in Florida. The dough and crust here is outstanding it has a crispy crunchy outside texture but yet soft and supple inside with a slightly sweet and just enough salt backbone to make this crust edible to the last bite.
I may just need to move up to this area just to have good pizza. However it will not be through the winter months. I love my Florida warm weather.
A small update to my review, I found this picture on the restroom. See the picture below. I had to ask the waitress about it who said she was confused as well and never even noticed it. My first thought is this was a restroom to go in and make selfies. Well this is my humor...
Read moreFrom the outside, the restaurant seems cool and the customers look like they're enjoying eating there, hence the reason we decided to eat here. Big mistake. We ordered a mushroom appetiser which was obviously just cheap canned mushrooms covered in italian dressing. They charged 9 dollars for it. Then we had 2 pizzas. The pizzas looked amazing but looks can be deceiving... The mushroom pizza had almost no flavor, save the burnt crust. Every bite was just burnt pizza dough and cheap tasting ingredients. I thought maybe it was my bad luck and tried some of the pepperoni pizza. More of the same... Burnt crust and cheap toppings. The pizza sauce tasted like they drained the sauce out of a can of spaghetti-o's and the cheese was maybe something they bought on sale at the dollar store or something.
I looked across the room to another patron who was eating pizza and saw that their crust was just as burnt as ours. The woman was putting salt and pepper on her pizza... Unheard-of!
Truly disappointed and upset that I spent so much money to eat so poorly. I'd hope that this was a bad night but at those prices, you can't afford to have a bad night.
Everyone there...
