Banff travel guide
Let me fill in the gaps in my Banff travel guide 🧗🏻♀️ Packed with practical tips! ⚠️ Recent wildfires in Jasper affect the opening of attractions and highways. Be sure to check routes before traveling. For car rental, attraction collections, ticket purchases, essentials, and dressing guides, please refer to the previous post in the "World Travel 🌍" collection. 🚘 5-day 4-night itinerary (limited by word count, only up to Day 2, the rest will be in the next post) 𝐃𝐚𝐲 ☝🏻 Vancouver ✈️ Calgary ➤ Banff Town ❶ 🛩️ Arrive in Calgary and pick up the car at the airport rental car center. ❷ Banff Town is perfect for strolling on foot. Walk along Banff Avenue all the way to Cascade of Time Garden—super chill 🫧 🛒 It’s recommended to visit a supermarket in Calgary! Stock up on water and energy-boosting snacks before heading to Banff. 🏠 Canalta Lodge 👩🏻🍳 Master Beef Hot Pot (Chaoshan beef hot pot): The ingredients are super fresh! You can taste the natural flavor of the meat. 𝐃𝐚𝐲 ✌🏻 Moraine Lake ➤ Lake Louise ❶ To go to Moraine Lake, you need to buy a shuttle ticket in advance, but it’s really worth it! Taking the earliest shuttle (4 am) allows you to see the golden sunrise over the mountains 🌅 Hike the Moraine Lake Rockpile Trail to the top for a panoramic view of the lake (all stairs, 10 minutes). The lakeside trail has fewer people—take a loop if you have time. ❷ Lake Louise is a must-visit for almost everyone, but it’s really crowded 😅 The water quality doesn’t feel as good as other lakes. You can hike the trail (flat, 1-2 hours). 🎫 Keep your shuttle ticket safe—it’s valid for both Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. The connector shuttle between the lakes runs every 30 minutes. The last shuttle back to the parking lot is at 7:30 pm. 🏠 Paradise Lodge & Bungalows: Each is a standalone cabin 🛖 with an excellent experience. #UnderratedTreasureTown #VisitBanffTown #BanffNationalPark #BanffGuide #RoadTrip #MoraineLake #LakeLouise #EmeraldLake #GoldenSunrise #CanadaTravel
