🌟 Bangkok Michelin-Worthy Dining Experience 🌟
🦐 You simply must indulge in seafood when in Thailand! This time in Bangkok, I was initially set on visiting Somboon Seafood, but since I've had it before and heard it's not as great as before, I decided to try Sornthong Pochana instead. 🫢 Everything was of high quality and reasonably priced: Our group of 7 ordered 10 dishes plus 5 beers 🍻 and the bill was only 6200 Baht 😂—less than $200 per person! The grilled river prawns were incredibly fresh, springy, and packed with roe 🤭. The crab with vermicelli was flavorful and the vermicelli was stir-fried to perfection, with mushrooms 🍄 underneath. The oyster omelette was spot on 😍—reminiscent of Taiwan's oyster omelettes, with large, plump oysters 🤪. The stir-fried pumpkin leaves were worth a try, tenderer than regular water spinach~If you usually have water spinach, it's a nice change. 😌 The tom yum was tangy, perfect for whetting the appetite 🤤. Overall, the food quality was excellent, the prices were fair, and the environment was comfortable 😙 with two floors! The layout reminded me of Hong Kong's dining halls 😝. The food came out quickly, and most of the diners were locals, so I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok! After your meal, there's a Big C supermarket just a 3-minute walk away 😏. 🌟 Recommended Dishes: 🍴 Grilled River Prawns 🦐 🍴 Crab with Vermicelli 🦀 🍴 Oyster Omelette 🍳 🍴 Stir-Fried Pumpkin Leaves 🍴 Mango Sticky Rice 🥭🍚 #Bangkok #RestaurantHopping #BangkokEats #BangkokRestaurants #BangkokFood #BangkokLife #BangkokSeafood #SornthongPochana #BangkokSornthongPochana
