Bangladesh ~ Chittagong
Whether by train or plane, delays are absolutely normal here. When traveling from Cox's Bazar to Chittagong, choosing the train isn’t just about safety—Google Maps claims the train takes only 3 hours, while the bus takes 4. But let’s be real, those are definitely not accurate under normal circumstances. Delays are part of the adventure! 🚆😅 The slow train took nearly 5 hours, but we later discovered it had a "luxury" carriage—don’t get too excited, though. It just meant independent seating (P3 was the actual AC coach). On the way into the city, we crossed an old red iron bridge, which became our first impromptu photo spot. The terminal station’s colonial-era building was another charming highlight. 📸✨ Since Chittagong was just a layover, we flew to Dhaka the next day. The airport experience involved three armed checkpoints before even reaching the departure hall. Boarding was delayed by 30 minutes, and just as we thought we were taking off—surprise!—the runway was occupied by Air Force drills. So we waited… and waited. 😤✈️ The real fun began during descent—our 777 circled four and a half times before landing. Gotta admit, the pilot’s circles were impressively smooth! 🌀😂 #Chittagong #ChittagongSeaside #ChittagongSunset #ChittagongShips
