Barcelona | The Italian Bistro That Chefs Love to Gather At
On Sunday nights, I often go out to eat with friends I met at cooking school to catch up and exchange some gossip. Everyone has Monday off and finishes early on Sundays. Our go-to spot is this little bistro; it’s delicious and not expensive. It’s located right next to the famous Benzine, and it’s owned by the same boss. 🍷 The wine selection is somewhat similar to the one next door, but with better value for money. I ordered a primitivo and a chardonnay, and I loved them both!!! Especially the chardonnay, it’s the most comfortable one I’ve had recently. Later, we opened a bottle of something else, which was also very good, though I can’t remember what it was. 🍴 The dishes are mainly bar snacks The Italian meatballs, grilled pork belly, and roasted eggplant are all great. I highly recommend the beef tartare taco; the seasoning is fantastic, very sweet and refreshing, with orange 🍊 as the main flavoring. The handmade dumplings 🥟 are a bold choice to try. Surprisingly, there’s a walnut risotto that’s not at all heavy with cream, the texture is rich, the rice is soft and combined with the crispiness of the walnuts, creating layers of flavor. The waitresses are very beautiful and super cute!!! #Italy #Spain #Barcelona #BarcelonaFood #Chefs #BarcelonaDining
