Barcelona City Walk (16,000 steps) 🚶‍♂️🌉

Today's city walk route: Casa Milà - Casa Batlló - micu maku paella - Plaça de Catalunya - La Boqueria Market - Barcelona Cathedral - Palau de la Música Catalana 🏠 I arrived at Casa Milà at nine in the morning, but had to wait until 9:30 for them to let people in. Once inside, each person is given an audio guide, and you can choose Chinese. It's quite friendly for people without a background in architecture, allowing us to learn about the design concepts of Barcelona's great architect Gaudí. Casa Milà is very beautiful, with biomimetic designs everywhere, and the rooftop is very open, perfect for photos on a good day. When we got to the rooftop, we wanted to rest, but almost every angle had people taking photos! 🏠 After visiting Casa Milà, I went straight to another Gaudí building - Casa Batlló. Our tickets were for 11:00, but we were a bit late. We wanted to ask the ticket lady if we still needed to wait in line, but she let us go in from the front, so we didn't have to queue, haha 😂. We bought silver tickets, which come with a tablet that provides explanations and dynamic displays of the design prototypes from special angles, which is quite recommended. Casa Batlló is entirely in an underwater style, with beautiful and distinctive architecture and many clever details. However, it doesn't seem suitable for long-term living; living in such an apartment every day might make you feel dizzy after a while. 🦞 A ten-minute walk took us to micu maku, recommended by netizens. We didn't have to wait in line at noon and ordered Spanish seafood paella and grilled shrimp. I highly recommend the Spanish seafood paella, it's so delicious!! 🍦 On the way to Plaça de Catalunya after lunch, we passed an ice cream shop and bought a smoothie and ice cream. It was a bit more expensive than what I bought in Italy, and the taste was just so-so. 🕊️ There were many pigeons in the square, but not as many aggressive sellers of pigeon food as there are at the entrance of Milan Cathedral, which was quite nice~ 🥓 La Boqueria Market was bustling! You can experience the local market atmosphere! Everything from fruits and fresh produce to ham bars is available. We bought two packs of packaged ham at a place with fresh ham, which was easy to take home, about 20€ for 200g. ⛪️ Strolling along, we arrived at the Barcelona Cathedral, which was beautiful on the outside. We didn't go in, as we felt the inside would be more or less the same. 🎵 Walking from the church towards the Arch of Triumph, you pass the Palau de la Música Catalana. There was only a performance in the evening today, but after a full day of sightseeing, we were too tired to go. #Barcelona #BarcelonaHotspots #SpainHotspots #Spain
