Barcelona Seafood Restaurant Recommendation | La Paradeta

There are several branches of this chain restaurant in the city. I went to the one next to Parc de la Ciutadella, near the Arc de Triomf metro station. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the metro exit. ⏰ Opening Hours: Opens at 8 PM, but people start lining up around 7:40 PM. 🕹 Ordering Style: As shown in the fourth picture, when you enter, there’s a counter just like in a seafood market. You select and weigh your seafood on the spot. Just point to what you want, and the staff will understand both English and Spanish. After ordering your seafood, you’ll be given a number, then you walk a few steps to the cash register to order bread (0.5 euros each) and drinks (both Sangria and lemon-flavored beer are delicious!) 🥘 Some items can be chosen for cooking method (grilled, steamed, or fried), while others have a fixed preparation (like squid 🦑 can only be fried, shellfish can only be a la plancha grilled). The octopus is cooked with potatoes and paprika, a classic dish. 🥙🥗🥘 The seafood is very fresh and comes with a characteristic coriander sauce. You can’t go wrong with a blind choice, everything is delicious. 📠 Average cost is around 40 euros per person. #BarcelonaFood #SpainTravel #FoodReview
