Bearizona: Getting "Robbed" by Bears!

🐻💕After a hearty breakfast at Pine Country Restaurant in the charming town of Williams, we headed straight to the most anticipated stop of our trip – Bearizona Wildlife Park! Here’s your ultimate guide to making the most of your visit! 🚗 Part 1: Drive-Thru | The Heart of the Experience This is undoubtedly the highlight of the park – an absolutely fantastic drive-through safari! 💡 Golden Tip: Go during the morning feeding time! We entered the drive-thru area around 9:30–10:00 AM, just as the staff were putting out food. This is when the black bears are most active – they gather in groups along the roadside, munching away. It’s a spectacular sight, and you can observe them up close through your car window! 💡 Visit Recommendations: ✔️ You can drive through the safari as many times as you want. I highly recommend going around at least 2–3 times! ✔️ While you must keep windows closed in the bear and wolf areas for safety, you can roll down your windows in the herbivore sections. Get ready for super close encounters with reindeer! 🦌 🚶‍♀️ Part 2: Walk-Thru Area | Stroll, Snack & Watch Shows ‼️ Attention Pet Parents! ‼️ Pets are not allowed in the walk-thru area (even service dogs like Nuts aren’t permitted). So, you’ll need to leave your furry friend in the car. If it’s a hot day, please think carefully – never leave your pet alone in a stuffy, overheated vehicle! Animal Shows & Close Encounters Once your pup is settled, you’re free to explore the walk-thru area. Right near the entrance, there’s a grassy zone with animal shows (featuring critters like raccoons 🦝). Check the map for showtimes! There’s also a small petting farm where you can gently stroke friendly goats – so therapeutic! 🐐❤️ Diverse Animal Species The walk-thru area is home to many animals, each in spacious, naturalistic habitats. We saw majestic grizzly bears, adorable foxes, jaguars, and more. Fun detail: To see the leopards and jaguars at the very back, you have to walk through the gift shop – now that’s some clever design! 😉 📝 Nuts Mom’s Final Thoughts Bearizona is a must-visit attraction in Williams – the experience totally surpasses that of a traditional zoo! Key takeaways: Go in the morning! Catch the feeding session before 10 AM! Drive through the safari multiple times! Pet parents, be mindful of walk-thru rules and weather conditions! #Bearizona #Arizona Travel #Wildlife Adventure #Pet Friendly Tips #Family Travel
