Beautiful Autumn Scenery
Guide to Mont-Tremblant Resort 🍁 🚗 Transportation 🚌 How to avoid crowds during Thanksgiving? The secret is a combination of driving and taking the bus! 🎯 On the first day of Thanksgiving, we drove to Mont-Tremblant-Village (5km from the resort) in the afternoon. Passing through the center, the line of cars trying to get out was insanely long… 😱 👮🏻♂️ Police were stopping cars at the roundabout—only residents got in! Even then, we hit a small jam entering. Parking at the hotel? Barely found a spot! So many people parked just to eat. 🤦🏻♀️ A friend said nearby lots were full by 9-10am with cars queuing, so we switched to the free bus the next day—smart move! 🚌✨ The official free bus link 📎 might get blocked, so check the comments. Pic 9 has the route + real-time bus tracker 🗺️, Pic 10 is the schedule (first bus 6am-ish 🌅). 🚡 Cable Cars The cable cars split into two sections: one free , one paid . Book the paid one 24h early online to save 1 CAD! 💸 Fall season: Paid cars start at 8am, but the free one wasn’t running yet. We walked—only a few hundred meters! 🚶🏻 Took the paid car at 8am: Pro = no crowds 🎉, Con = sun hadn’t risen ☀️❌. Top of the mountain? 1°C! 🥶 Rushed to the fireplace in the summit restaurant to thaw. 🔥 🍽️ Restaurants Tried two in Mont-Tremblant-Village—one flop, one hit! 💔 Ital Delli Italian spot with great vibes and live music 🎶. Service? Impeccable—waiters checked in nonstop! But the food? Yikes. 😬 They overdo spices: Seafood pasta was salty and weirdly seasoned. Potato-bacon pizza 🍕 had spices that hit like a truck 🚛. Google says 4.5 stars… we left confused. 🤯 ❤️ Au Coin pub gastronomique It’s our hotel’s restaurant—always a line 👥, so we skipped it at first (listed as a bistro). But post-resort hunger forced us in… and we’re glad! 😋 Seafood pasta: Normally delicious (especially vs. the above… 😅) but pricey (~42 CAD 💸). Grilled squid: Crispy, not greasy—so good! Just tiny portions 🦑. Vibe: Cozy family-style 🏡. Staff were swamped, though—waited ages to pay 🕒. Google says 4.0 stars, but it’s way better than the 4.5 one. Comparison is key! 🔑 🏨 Accommodation Hôtel Mont-Tremblant Pros: Great location—1min from the free bus stop 🚌, tasty restaurant downstairs 🍴, free parking 🅿️! Cons: Super old—carrying suitcases up stairs? Nightmare 😭. #GreatPlacestoHikeandEnjoyAutumn #AutumnColoredForests #TraveltheWorldTogether #BeautifulAutumnScenery #ChasingAutumnThroughTravel #CanadaTravel #MontTremblant #CanadianMapleLeaves #MapleLeafSeason #QuebecTravel
