Become a Ramen Fanatic in Seattle in Seconds
Having lived in Seattle for so long, these four are my go-to hidden gem ramen spots I keep coming back to! All are near Capitol Hill, roughly around $25 per person. 📍 Ooink Recommended: black garlic and mapo tofu flavors. The black garlic broth is rich and savory, and the pickled vegetables in the mapo tofu ramen are delicious. (Their chili oil is incredibly fragrant!) 😋 📍 Kajiken A must-visit for dry noodle lovers! Lots of sides to choose from. My favorite is the Nikumori—loaded with meat and served with a raw egg to mix in. 🥚 📍 Menya This place offers more variety, including dipping noodles and seasonal specials. Every bowl is packed with toppings, and their thick-cut roasted pork is amazing. 🍖 📍 Danbo My favorite late-night spot, open until 11 PM. It’s usually busy during peak hours, and the restaurant is pretty compact. Here, you customize your own bowl—choose your broth, toppings, and more. Don’t forget to add karashi takana—it tastes just like Chinese pickled vegetables! 🌙 #food #ramen #japaneseramen #Seattle #CapitolHill
