Belgrade 🇷🇸 Food Recommendations
I spent a few days in Belgrade and really ate non-stop every day. Finally, I’ve rounded up some amazing restaurants with reasonable prices! 🍉 🍔Whether you’re looking for local specialties, Chinese food, or desserts and milk tea, I’ve got you covered. Here are my recommendations! 🔹 Local Cuisine: Ćevabdžinica Savčić Dorćol ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💰 Average cost per person: 300 RMB 📍 Strahinjića Bana 52, Beograd 11000, Serbia The steak here is incredible—super tender, full of original meat flavor, and practically a must-order at every table!🥩 The calf liver is also non-greasy, even more flavorful than the steak in my opinion—definitely worth a try if you’re open to it. 🥤 Also recommended is the dessert, Tres leches cake! It’s rich in milk flavor, moist in texture, and so satisfying. At 390 dinars, it’s ridiculously cheap. The tomato salad in the picture is also great for cutting through the richness—highly recommended!🍄 🔹 Local Cuisine: Walter ⭐⭐⭐ 💰 Average cost per person: 90 RMB 📍 Strahinjića Bana 57, Beograd 11000, Serbia This is a local Serbian chain—affordable with consistently good flavors. 🍤 🍖🍖The beef and Serbian sausages are delicious, and the portions are huge; locals often have a serving as a main meal. It’s truly a meat lover’s paradise. However, I personally find the flavor a bit salty, and it’s not as good as the popular steakhouse mentioned above.🍤 🔹 Chinese Restaurant: Panda Tianfu ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💰 Average cost per person: 80-90 RMB 📍 Braće Jugovića, Kuća, Beograd, Serbia You’ve got to have Chinese food! The Sichuan Boiled Beef here is amazing—tender beef with a spicy kick that’s so satisfying. 🍕 The Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes tastes just like home, with the perfect balance of sweet and sour, great with rice. 🍚 The Pig’s Trotter Soup is also highly recommended—simmered until it’s milky white, packed with collagen. Later, we went back and tried the rabbit meat, Yu-Shiang Shredded Pork, and Shredded Potatoes. The shredded potatoes have a strong vinegar flavor—great if you love vinegar. Also, I noticed that most food in Belgrade tends to have a slightly sour taste.🍱🍱 🔹 Chinese Restaurant: Northeast Iron Pot Stew ⭐⭐⭐⭐🍰 💰 Average cost per person: Forgot🍞 📍 Surčin, Branka Drlica, Serbia (search on Google Maps) We went here on our last day in the country. It’s close to the airport—you can call the owner in advance to have the chicken stewed ready when you arrive.🥜 The location is a bit remote, so it’s not easy to get a taxi, but after the meal, the owner kindly helped us hail a taxi to the airport.🥔 The portions are huge and the flavor is great, and the side dishes they serve keep it from feeling greasy.🥒 #food #BelgradeFood #SerbiaFoodie #Belgrade #Serbia #SerbiaTravel #InternationalStudentEats #RestaurantRecommendations #Serbia
