Berlin's Classic Spot - A Must-Try!

I saw many recommendations, so I had to come try it myself~ 😋 Pork Knuckle (Haxe) - Half Portion (Halbe) The pork skin was super crispy, though hard to cut. The meat was tender and juicy, with an extra side of sauce. The cabbage on the side wasn’t too sour; just right to balance the richness. 🫶 😋 Munich Sausage (Große Münchner Bratwurst) Big sausage, but the taste was average. The friendly waitress enthusiastically recommended a blue-packaged mustard as “the best” 🤣 for pairing with the sausage. Surprisingly, it was the mashed potatoes that delighted me the most! So tasty! 😂 😋 Meatball (Kalbsfleischpflanzerl) This was another recommendation from the waitress. The meatball was good, and the crispy onions on top mixed into the sauce were delicious! Mashed potatoes again for the main side. The portions are huge! Even though my friends and I eat a lot, we still couldn’t finish everything. 🫨 If you’re a group of three, ordering just two dishes should be enough! Although the waitress didn’t pay much attention to us initially, she warmed up when we ordered. 😂 At the end, though, there was a little drama with the change. We were owed €2.5, but she seemed reluctant to return it. She even passed by our table a few times, thanked us, and patted my friend on the shoulder without mentioning the change. In the end, my friend bought a beer glass 🍺 from the restaurant and managed to get our change back. #Germany #LivinginGermany #GermanPorkKnuckle #Berlin #BerlinEats #BerlinFoodie #GermanCuisine #HiddenGemRestaurant #PopularRestaurant #RestaurantRecommendations
