🔥 Berlin's Must-Try Thai Restaurant|This Level Is Truly Moving!

📍 Dao by Meo: A Hidden Gem on Kantstraße In the words of : "It's a level that brings tears of joy!" A group of four of us dined at this unassuming Thai restaurant on Kantstraße called Dao by Meo—and it was incredible. Regret not discovering it sooner! I met the owner, Meo, at a Thai Cooking Event in Rongli Market last week. She's from southern Thailand, runs a Thai cooking school in Berlin, and this restaurant. Specializing in dishes with quirky spices, southern Thai cuisine here is all about spiciness and refreshment, offering unique aromas unlike other Berlin Thai spots. Dao by Meo also excels in rich soups, known as "แกง" in Thai. 🍳 Chef's Recommended Dishes ✨ Khua Kling Dry Red Curry Chicken The owner's signature! Shredded chicken with southern Thai red curry paste, highlighted by shredded kaffir lime leaves. Their aroma when stir-fried is the dish's essence 🌶️ 🚨 Warning: Regular spiciness is extremely hot! Alert them in advance if sensitive to spice. It's addictively spicy and fragrant! A friend who studied in Phuket said it took them back to their school cafeteria 😭 🐷 Pad Krapow Moo (Basil Pork) A slightly sweet, refreshing version perfect with sticky rice. A solid choice here. 🦐 Yum Woon Sen (Spicy Seafood Glass Noodle Salad) A summer must! Refreshingly sour and spicy. Even better if served chilled with extra lime! 🐮 Massaman Beef Curry (Southern Style) Thinly sliced beef infused with flavor. Sweeter than traditional curry, milder in spices—very Chinese palate-friendly. Personally, I prefer the spicy Massaman chicken with potatoes 😍 🥭 Complimentary Dessert Platter The owner treated us to fried bananas (crispy exterior, sticky interior) and mango sticky rice! Warning: This will fully satisfy your stomach 😂 💡 Insider Tips Beverage alert: Drinks are average—skip the Thai milk tea. Head to the nearby chon/thong for better options. Signage update: Currently red, switching to green soon. Name remains Dao by Meo—don’t be confused! 💰 Price & Location €25-30/person Address: Search "Dao by Meo" on Google Maps, near Kantstraße #BerlinDiary #ThaiCuisine #KantStrasse #BerlinRestaurantHunt
