Berlin's People's No. 1 Doner! Truly Deserved!🥳
I visited this place twice in a week while I was there. The first time, I went alone on a weekday afternoon, around 3 or 4 p.m. There was already a small line, but it wasn't as crazy as the queues in Shanghai.🌟🌟🌟 😋 The waiting time wasn't too long; actually, the cooking process took a bit longer. The second time, I went with a local group called the "No Diet Club."🥳There was definitely a line, especially since it was a weekend and the best weather day in Berlin in April. So, naturally, there were even more people waiting... But let me tell you, this place is genuinely delicious! As someone who didn't have much experience with Turkish food,😋 I was surrounded by Doner Kebabs everywhere in Germany, from big cities to small towns. It's probably similar to how Shaxian Delicacies, Lamian noodles, or hand-grab pancakes are found on every street corner. Doner Kebab started to grow and spread in West Berlin in the 1970s with the influx of Turkish immigrants.🌟🌟🌟 I initially thought, "How impressive could a street food like this be? It's just meat in a wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, and feta cheese, right?" Well, I was thoroughly "educated"!🌟🌟🌟 Firstly, the proportions of all the ingredients are just perfect. Secondly, the meat is juicy and not overcooked. And then there's the homemade sauce from the shop... I absolutely love the rich layers of flavors, with just a hint of fatty satisfaction. 😊 As someone who loves grilled cheese and French toast, I can definitely get behind this!🌟🌟🌟 That being said, even though it's rich and satisfying,😋 the lettuce, tomatoes, and some onions help cut through the oiliness and cool things down a bit. The key point is that the portion size is super large! It's incredibly satisfying!🌟🌟🌟 🥳 On my first visit, I thought there was no way I'd finish it... But sitting in the park, I ended up eating the whole thing without realizing it. It was just that good... ✏️ Restaurant Name: Rüyam Gemüse Kebab 📍 Address: Schönhauser Allee 44A, 10435 Berlin, Germany #DailyLifeInGermany #Berlin #BerlinFood #Germany #Exploration #StreetFood
