Berlin | Art Exhibition in an Abandoned Church 🎨

Hello everyone! I wanted to share an exhibition I visited the day before yesterday. The exhibition is called **I Sought My Soul**. 🌟 This place used to be a church, **St. Elisabeth Church**, designed and built by the architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel in 1835. (By the way, many buildings in Berlin were designed by this architect.) It was damaged in the well-known war in 1945 and wasn't restored until 1999. πŸ• Now it serves as a cultural and artistic exhibition space. Apart from the architectural structure, there are hardly any traces of the church left. The walls are exposed red bricks, and sunlight streams through the large windows, illuminating the interior. The space is bright, grand, and has a delicate beauty. πŸŒ… The exhibition runs until May 4th. If you're interested, make sure to visit soon! Even after the exhibition ends, the building itself is worth experiencing. There will likely be other exhibitions in the future, so keep an eye out! πŸ‘€ #Berlin #BerlinLife #BerlinTravel #BerlinTourism #ArtExhibition #ArtAndArchitecture
