BERLIN | Marvel at the Brilliance of Ancient Egyptian Civilization❗️
🔖 Must-visit in Berlin: Museum Island 🏝️ 🏛️ Components of Museum Island: 1️⃣ Pergamon Museum : The most famous museum on Museum Island, renowned for its exquisite replicas of ancient Greek architecture, such as the Pergamon Altar and the Gate of Miletus. Note⚠️ The Pergamon Museum began a 4-year renovation in October 2023, with the gate section closed until 2037. It's a must-see, but be prepared for the wait! ⏳ 2️⃣ Altes Museum (Old Museum) : Located next to the Berlin Cathedral, its colonnade and the lawn and fountain in front of the entrance are truly spectacular. This museum mainly displays artifacts from ancient Greece and Rome, with its central rotunda modeled after the Pantheon in Rome. 🏛️ 3️⃣ Neues Museum (New Museum) : Focused on ancient Egyptian and prehistoric human civilizations, it houses a collection of pharaohs' sarcophagi and busts. The most famous exhibit is the bust of Queen Nefertiti. Seeing it in person is absolutely breathtaking!❗️ (Staff do not allow close-up photography📷🙅♀️) 4️⃣ Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery) : This art museum showcases paintings from the Romantic, Impressionist, and Classical periods, as well as marble sculptures. The collection is dominated by oil paintings. 🎨 5️⃣ Das Pergamon : An outer hall of the Pergamon Museum, requiring a separate ticket for entry. The highlight is the 30-meter-high 360-degree panoramic view, accompanied by music and lighting, making you feel like you're in ancient Rome. 🎶 6️⃣ Bode Museum : It displays European history from the Middle Ages, featuring sculptures, ancient coins, and artworks. 🕸️ 🎫 How to Get Tickets 🎟️: 1️⃣ Official Website : Berlin State Museums 2️⃣ We purchased on-site🛒 : Staff scan the QR code on the ticket when entering each museum, so be sure not to lose it! Germans are very strict about this—tickets are the only proof of entry. 📱 💰 Ticket Prices : Full price 24€ per person, student ticket 12€ per person 🎧 Audio Guides : Available at the entrance of the exhibition halls, but unfortunately, there is no Chinese audio. This is the only major European attraction I've visited without a Chinese audio guide, so it's a great opportunity to practice your English listening skills! The staff are very friendly and lovely, though. 😊 #Germany #Berlin #BerlinTravel #Museum #MuseumIsland #BerlinLife #NeuesMuseum #EgyptianCivilization #QueenNefertiti
