🍓 Berlin | The Weather's Great, Time to Visit the Strawberry Village!

📍The strawberries from the strawberry house are probably well-known to everyone by now; it's not an exaggeration to say they're the best in Germany. A friend mentioned they also have a small amusement park, so we decided to go as the weather warmed up! The entrance is a huge store with all kinds of strawberry-related products and merchandise, like a warehouse supermarket. The candies are handmade, and there are live demonstrations of the entire production process every day (we watched at 11:30 and 15:00). After the demonstrations, you can try the candies for free—both the strawberry and apple flavors are super delicious! My friend bought three jars in a row! I rarely eat sugar but couldn't resist getting a jar of mixed fruit flavor; the prices are also very reasonable! 📍Passing through the store leads to the amusement park! There are Shetland ponies to ride (but only for children under 35kg), lambs to feed, and various rides, mostly aimed at children, but we tried two slightly thrilling ones and had a great time! The Fliegender Regenschirm is similar to a pirate ship, and the K2-Achterbahn is a small roller coaster that operates at staggered times throughout the day. In short, although it's a children's paradise, we still had a lot of fun! There's food and drink in the park (the strawberry juice is rich and tangy, very tasty, and a must-try! I had it in the restaurant in the big store at the entrance; it's bottled, and you pour it yourself, 2.7€ a cup). There's also a café, waffles, and dessert shops where you can leisurely wander for an afternoon! 📍 It's next to the outlet village, so you can also do some shopping! There are six such strawberry villages across Germany. The one near Berlin doesn't seem to offer picking, but some others will allow you to pick strawberries in a month or so! Friends in other cities can search for the one closest to them; the official website has the details! 💰: A day ticket is 22.5€, entry to the park is free, or you can, like us, not buy a ticket and pay separately for the rides (the two we tried were 4.5€ and 5€ each). #Germany #GermanLife #Berlin #BerlinLife
