Berlin Diary | Highly Recommended! 🌟
In the words of Kato-san: "It's a level of delicacy that moves you!" Today, the four of us dined at this unassuming Thai restaurant on Kantstrasse called Dao by Meo! It was truly delicious, and I regret not having tried it sooner! 😋 🍗 Their signature dish, recommended by the chef, is called Khua Kling Fried Curry, which is the owner's specialty. It features minced chicken with a southern Thai red curry sauce. The key is the horse orange leaves! When stir-fried, their aroma is unleashed, becoming the essence of the dish. If you can't handle spice, speak up in advance because the normal spiciness is really hot!! It's hot and fragrant, irresistible!! My friend who learned on Phuket Island said one bite took her back to the school cafeteria. 🥹🥹 🐷 We also ordered the classic Thai minced pork, which was a bit sweet but very refreshing, perfect with sticky rice! While our neighbors only offer beef, this place is also a great choice. 🦐 For the seafood salad with glass noodles, need I say more? It's great to have in the summer, and if it's chilled with a bit more sourness, it would be fantastic!! 🐮 Massaman beef curry, a dish from southern Thailand, is also on their menu. The beef is sliced into very thin pieces and is very flavorful. Compared to traditional spicy curries, this dish is slightly sweeter, with less pronounced spices, making it quite acceptable. But I personally prefer the Massaman chicken with potatoes, and I like it spicy! 😍😍 🥭 The owner also gifted us a dessert platter for four. Who doesn't love crispy fried bananas and mango sticky rice?! Sis! After that plate, my belly is more than satisfied today! 😂😂 【By the way, their drinks are just average, especially the Thai milk tea; I prefer the ones from a certain place across the street.】 I recommend everyone to give it a try! Just Google the name, and note that they are about to change the color of their sign. It's currently red, but don't mistake it for another place when it changes. The name remains the same, Dao by Meo! 💚💚 Average cost per person: 25-30 euros #BerlinDiary #LifeInBerlin #DailyLifeInBerlin #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGemRestaurant #FoodDaily #HappiestMomentsInDailyLife
