I was getting my nails done in West Covina when I discovered a Porto’s Bakery nearby—finally a chance to try what everyone’s been raving about! I dashed over without a plan, but even my random picks turned out absolutely delicious. 🥐✨ The line moves fast thanks to their efficient staff. You tell them what you want, they jot it down, pack everything neatly, then lead you to the register. Pro tip: come with a wishlist—there’s no time to browse slowly once you’re at the counter! 🍰 What I Tried & Loved: 1️⃣ Napoleon Slice – Saw them slicing it fresh when I walked in and instantly craved it. Creamy but not overly rich, with layers of crisp pastry. Even after taking it home, it was still delicious. My #1 favorite! 2️⃣ Chocolate Hazelnut Eclair – Part of their éclair series (they also have seasonal flavors like taro and matcha—didn’t see them this time, but I’ll be back!). 3️⃣ Potato Ball – A savory delight with a fragrant potato crust. A tad salty for me, but so tasty I’d order it again. 4️⃣ Fresh Fruit Tartlet – Classic, fresh, and satisfying. The fruit on top was wonderfully sweet and vibrant.
