What an absolutely incredible day! My husband and I had the time of our lives on the swamp tour β and wow, was it amazing! πΏπΆ Captain Dewey was an absolute gem β incredibly knowledgeable, hilariously funny, and clearly passionate about the ecosystem. He didn't just show us alligators; he told us stories about the swamp, explained the behavior of every creature we saw, and made the whole experience both educational and wildly entertaining. We were laughing the entire time! And speaking of alligators... WOW! πππ We lost count of how many we saw! From massive, ancient bulls sunning themselves on the banks to curious younger ones gliding silently through the water, it was like stepping into a National Geographic documentary. Captain Dewey would call them with a distinctive sound, and they'd actually approach our boat β close enough to see every detail of their powerful scales and ancient eyes. It was thrilling, safe, and something we'll never forget. Beyond the gators, the swamp itself was breathtakingly beautiful. The serene cypress trees draped in Spanish moss, the graceful herons taking flight, the tranquil sounds of nature β it was a complete sensory experience. We got stunning photos and even better memories.π This wasn't just a tour; it was the absolute highlight of our trip and one of our favorite experiences ever.
