Best Places to Walk Cats in Seattle 😻

Every place I visit usually has lots of dogs around, so decide based on how scared your cat is of dogs! 🐕 Magnuson Park Swimming Beach ❤️ There are lots of ducks, crows, and squirrels here. Louis loves watching them! 🦆🐦‍⬐🐿️ Magnuson is a huge park with many different trails. If you prefer fewer people, just walk a bit deeper into the park. There are many dogs because there’s a large off-leash area nearby. We’ve been here many times and still haven’t explored all of Magnuson! 🌳 Alki Beach Not as comfortable as the Edmonds waterfront, but it’s much closer and more convenient. However‼️, it’s right next to a street with lots of cars, which might make cats nervous. 🚗💨 When I went, the beach wasn’t too crowded, and cats and dogs played comfortably there. Not sure about weekends—there might be more people. Also, people do walk their dogs here. 🏖️ Seward Park This is one of the most beautiful parks in my opinion. Walking along the waterfront is so relaxing! 😌💙 We pushed our cat in a stroller here because it would’ve been hard for her to walk the whole way. We didn’t even finish the entire trail ourselves. 🐱👶 IMA Sports Field 1 East Lots of people walk their dogs off-leash here. It’s a huge grassy field. 🌱 I often bring my cat here to contemplate her life. 🤔✨ Unlike the previous spots, we don’t walk much here—instead, we let the cat explore on her own. Green Lake Everyone knows this place—it’s a holy grail for walking cats and dogs! 🐾⭐ Whether you’re circling the lake or resting on the grass, it’s super comfortable. No further explanation needed! 🏞️ We also often take our cat to Median Park, which has a dedicated off-leash area for dogs. We let our cat play while walking the dog. She always has a great time, but I just realized I don’t have any photos from there! 😅 Does anyone have other recommendations for great places to walk cats?
