Beverly Hills Italian Seafood Spot — And I Got a Cigar

Originally planned to try the new Dior restaurant in Beverly Hills, but accidentally booked for bar bites only 😅 So we found this creative Italian seafood spot nearby instead. Tasty, but definitely not cheap! Bread For Table — $0.02 Didn’t expect they’d charge for bread — but it was good! Served with salt flakes, butter, and you can add balsamic & olive oil from the table. Truffle Mushroom Pizza — $71 The crust was delicious, though they used Fontina cheese instead of traditional mozzarella — a bit firmer. Pizza was small, but dipping the crust in balsamic was a win 🍕 Charbroiled Langoustine — $123 So pricey lol, but tasty. Only 5 pieces though — gone too soon to fully savor 🦞 Novikov Cigar Box — $28 Came here mainly for this dessert! The server brings over a whole “cigar box” and lets you pick your “cigar.” I thought it’d be style over substance, but honestly it was decent — not too sweet for a chocolate dessert. Novikov Napoleon — $29 This felt like a steal! Huge portion for the price — thought it’d be a small slice. Probably the best dessert on the table — not overly sweet, layers super crisp (though eating it elegantly is still impossible 😂). Tiramisu — $16 Worst tiramisu I’ve had — skip it. Cream-heavy, sponge instead of ladyfingers, no coffee or liquor flavor. Eataly’s is way better. Almost ordered their dessert platter ($110) but thought it was too pricey… Ended up spending nearly $80 on three separate desserts anyway 😅 Should’ve just gone for the platter. Lots to explore on the menu — great for a slow, indulgent meal.
