🍁 Big Bear Mountain View | Bear Mountain 🏔️

Went to Bear Mountain last weekend hoping for fall foliage—though it wasn’t exactly “blanketed” in red leaves, the layered effect was still beautiful, with all three autumn colors showing up 🍂🍁🍃 Getting there from LA was super convenient—just a 1.5-hour bus ride away! The loop trail around the lake is pretty short—even walking slowly and stopping for photos, it only took about 40 minutes. The uphill trail was a bit tiring though—we decided to turn back since the views along the way weren’t particularly special if you don’t make it to the top 🧎 On the way, we spotted a sign for the zoo and took a detour—accidentally discovered an even prettier path that felt like a hidden gem! If you just walk the lake loop, a morning is totally enough time.
