Birmingham Adventure 🌆🚌
National Express🚌 9am-11am Bristol Bus Station➡️Birmingham Coach Station 📍Bullring St Martin's Church⛪️ A 5min walk from the station. It opens at noon, so we arrived a bit early and just snapped a photo at the entrance. If you want to see the church interior, plan this stop later!🛍️👗 📍Bullring St Martin's Church➡️Peaky Blinders Street About a 10min walk. Navigate to Grosvenor Casino, and the "Peaky Blinders" street is right opposite. Not too crowded, perfect for photos! 📍Peaky Blinders Street➡️Museum & Art Gallery 5min walk. Only one exhibition requiring a ticket is currently open; other areas are closed. If you want free entry, wait a bit! 📍Museum & Art Gallery➡️Victoria Square Just a 2min walk. The square is huge, with trams passing by. Be cautious when taking photos! 📍Albert's Schloss🍴 Ordered Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) and Sformato (cheesy potato bake). 🍖🍚 The cheese was heavenly! Heard it's busy on weekends, but we arrived around noon and found plenty of seats. 📍Birmingham Library 7min walk from the restaurant. The interior is stunning. The 9F observation deck was closed, but 7F views were great too. 📍Library➡️Canal Wharf💦 8min walk. Restaurants by the canal are good lunch spots. You can also shoot the canal panorama from the bridge, which has many locks like Bristol's harbour. 📍Canal➡️Bullring Shopping Centre 15min walk. Huge and bustling! Stores galore: fashion, accessories, supermarkets, eateries. Birmingham's shopping hub! 📍Bullring➡️Chinese Square A mini Chinatown with Chinese restaurants, drink shops🍋, barbers💈, bakeries🥯... 📍Tao Yuan Ordered the "three roast" rice, a bit much. Girls might prefer a "double roast". Three roasts: suckling pig + roast duck + char siu. Avg. £12.5 per person. Our verdict: char siu > roast duck > suckling pig. 🚌💨 Char siu was tender and sweet, while duck and pig were salty, but duck was more fragrant and juicy. ✅Return Journey National Express🚌 8:00pm-10:00pm Birmingham Coach Station➡️Bristol Bus Station 🚌💨 Starting the day with a National Express ride to Birmingham, excited for the adventures ahead! ⛪️⏰ Arrived a bit early at Bullring St Martin's Church, but the photo op was worth it! 🎬📸 Peaky Blinders Street was perfect for capturing some moody shots, just like the show! 🖼️🎫 The Museum & Art Gallery had limited access, but the one open exhibit was intriguing. 🍽️🧀 Albert's Schloss didn't disappoint with their delicious Schweinshaxe and cheesy Sformato! 📚🏛️ Birmingham Library's architecture was impressive, even without the observation deck. 🚶♀️💦 The walk to Canal Wharf was scenic, and the locks added a charming touch. 🛍️👗 Bullring Shopping Centre was a shopper's paradise, with so much to explore! 🚌💨 Chinese Square offered a taste of home with its variety of Asian eateries. 🍖🍚 Tao Yuan's three roast rice was a hearty meal, though a bit much for one sitting! 🚌🌙 Ending the day with the return journey, Birmingham was a blast! #birmingham #BirminghamTravel #BirminghamGuide #UKTravel
