I visited this arena for the first time ever for Kylie Minogue’s Tension Tour in April 2025. Generally, I liked the place. The arena is not that big. From what I found online, its capacity is about 19,000 people, and it definitely felt pretty compact inside. The good thing is that you get a clear view of the stage from pretty much anywhere. For example, my seat was in Sec 107, Row 16, and I absolutely loved it! The view of the stage was very clear, and the whole audience area was easy to see too. Don’t be scared to book Section 107, specifically Row 16, if you’re looking for a good seat and also trying not to spend too much on the ticket (as I remember, for Kylie’s concert, the price difference between my Row 16 and Row 14 was $50. But those rows are so close, it would feel exactly the same – no need to overpay). Before the show started, I walked around the auditorium a bit to take some photos, including from the sections directly across from the stage. Even though those spots have a front-facing view, you’re much farther away, and in my opinion, the view is not as nice or clear as from side sections like 107. Now about the actual seats – they were just okay in terms of comfort. I wish they were a bit wider and softer. The positive thing is that they all had cup/bottle holders built into the back. The auditorium seemed modern and well-equipped for high-tech shows. Kylie’s concert had tons of laser lights that went all the way through the space. I also loved the two big screens on each side of the stage, the video quality on them was excellent. The sound was great too; the arena has solid sound system support. The whole arena looked really good both inside and out. Everything was very clean, including the men’s restrooms. And by the way, the restrooms were located near pretty much every entrance to the auditorium (at least the one I used), which is super convenient. There were also lots of food courts on the lower level where I was, with a good variety of snacks and drinks. Another big plus was access to a large outdoor veranda where you can chill and enjoy beautiful views of Miami. There was also a bar in the middle of it, but it wasn’t working for some reason. The location of the arena is great – right in Downtown Miami, on the waterfront. I live in Edgewater, and it was easy for me to get there. I actually walked, and it took about 20 minutes, just a straight shot down Biscayne Blvd. And I’m glad I did, because traffic near the arena was heavy. It’s like that in the area almost every day, so I recommend walking if you can. Or, if you’re using a car or Uber, leave it a few blocks away and walk the rest. Big tip from me: after the show, don’t try to order Uber or Lyft right next to the arena. Walk 2–3 blocks away – to NE 1st Ave or N Miami Ave – and order your ride from there. You’ll get it way faster and won’t waste time waiting in traffic or at security checkpoints. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back to this arena for another concert or even a game...
Read moreInteresting experience, not necessarily good, nor bad. I attended the game Heats vs Pacers on Nov 30 ‘23.
The good : Overall the stadium is clean. The seats are comfortable. The sound system is ok, almost ok (but the sound engineer is over leveling the output which goes on the quality). The ´special effects ´ are interesting. The transmission time of the images the cameras next to the field are capturing is insane - almost instant on the screen.
The bad : AC is way to cold and blowing constantly not making it fun or comfortable to sit and enjoy the game. Or you have to bring more clothes. Where is the point!? drinks are EXPENSIVE ! Consider trading your liver for it (15$ a beer in a can // 6,50$ a soda). Food and other is also very expensive.
The real bad thing : constantly there are noises, effects, adds or music !!! This is so annoying : you cannot just sit there and enjoy a moment of peace in watching a game. Your adrenaline and awareness is constantly triggered with actual real bad quality sounds. Plus it’s almost always the same. DON’T GO SPONTANEOUSLY after a day of exploring the city… that’s what I did and not even a paper bag was allowed to bring in. Though, you have lockers, depending on the size of your bag… starting at 15$ (according to Casey from the call center). That is ridiculous !
And about this « Star Wars night special event » …. What is the point again in using somewhat every occasion to send in some stormtroopers or whatever??! Extremely annoying and bad quality shows to artificially ‘fill the gap’. Lmao! That’s actually ridiculous ! There is absolutely no point in that.
Feels like a trash show !
The game itself was worth watching and brought suspense ! Until the end the Heats were unable to lead the score, though won the game ! Would have been more appreciable without all this artificial useless fuzz of shows in every interruption !
THE REALLY BAD : ADVERTISING AND COMMERCIAL ALL THE WAY AND TIME THROUGH ! Let me explain : you come to a sports even, pay ~60$ only to get in and have some ok seating. It’s cold af and you get flooded by commercials during your visit. (Why are the fees higher than the actual price of the ticket?)
PS : don’t dare being old school in not owning a smartphone/not having a digital ticket.
PPS : I had an empty thermos, they take it away. Loss of 30$. No possibility to leave it somewhere and get it back after the game. That is a pity at this price.
PPPS : sorry for not being from the place and not knowing about that. Not.
Overall experience : paying a huge amount to be exposed and flooded by commercial during my stay & having cold....
Read moreAlthough this arena is conveniently located and the outer area is easily accessible, I saw many elderly people having GREAT difficulty navigating the slope (or rapid incline) of the stairs to the upper seating. The pitch of the stairways is a “fall hazard” for anyone with even slightly impaired mobility…
While this style of seating may be appropriate for a sports crowd (read: younger)… BUT, for tickets on which you’ve spent a great deal of money for a holiday gift (Andrea Bocelli Concert) the venue is lacking for reasonably accessible seats for the elderly populace. I saw a woman with a cane struggling to get to her seat above where I was & I couldn’t believe the tickets didn’t have an “accessibility disclaimer.” Seriously, it was RIDICULOUS.
The employees were all very nice & a few asked us outside the venue if my Aunt would be able to navigate the “stairs” but nobody said “inside” so I couldn’t understand what their concern was until we actually got to the rows of seats & I was flabbergasted that a “special needs” (blind) artist would book at a place where seats were nearly impossible to reach for a lot of people (a young guy on crutches was panting & had to stop several times on the way up…) even another, older, Spanish speaker said: “we’re going into the clouds to watch Andrea Bocelli.”
That pretty much sums it up! Zero stars for seating accessibility for the elderly.
We enjoyed the concert nonetheless, however, I noticed none of the older people left their seats during the 20 min. Intermission (inc’l my Auntie - that couldn’t be comfortable). And we had to depart before the concert was actually over because I feared that my Aunt would get nervous in the massive crowd (or be shoved even inadvertently) trying to navigate downstairs and fall down this harrowing staircase… (she has metal bars in both her legs as a result of injuries sustained from a very serious car accident)… I won’t attend a concert again at this venue. (Forget wearing high heels here unless you’re hoping for a...
