Black Sesame Latte in Portland ☕️
Stumbled upon a tiny coffee shop in Portland, with a small storefront and warm yellow lights ✨. Push the door, and the aroma of baking hits you—it’s so cute you’ll want to linger. Tried their signature Black sesame cream latte, and the first sip is cozy: black sesame fragrance mixed with fluffy milk foam, like blending sesame paste and latte into one, smooth and easy to drink 😌. But privately, I still miss the first sip at heybings: back then, the black sesame flavor was as rich as freshly ground sesame paste, sweet but restrained, with tiny sesame bits in every bite. This latte has a bit too much syrup; the latter half tastes a little cloying 🍯, lacking the "pure sesame" freshness. Still, 4 stars are well-deserved—after all, finding such a homely special in Portland is already a nice surprise~ 📍 1003 SW 5th Ave, Portland, OR 97204 ————————— Spent the first day of Labor Day weekend totally stuck in the airport 🫠. Planned to take the noon flight to Texas with friends. Morning (hesitated) "should I change to an early flight?" but ended up thinking "let’s gamble and go together"—now only regret remains 😩: Texas isn’t the scorching sun I imagined, but thundering and pouring rain 🌧️⚡️. The flight is delayed to the point of apathy, sitting at the gate scrolling through my phone, staring at the rain curtain outside in a daze. The last four or five flights, each delayed for an hour or two—it’s like I’m jinxed with "on-time" 🫠. Suddenly missing big city air ports: you can see four 747s take off with a roar in half an hour ✈️, even catch a glimpse of an MD-11 landing from the plane. That excitement of "being surrounded by steel birds" can offset half the delay frustration. But Indy’s airport is really boring—no viewing area outside, not even a good spot in the terminal to watch planes 😐. Just staring at the flight info screen and sighing. The rain keeps falling, wonder if we’ll land smoothly today ✈️ #PortlandFood #BlackSesameLatte #CoffeeShop #LaborDayTravel #FlightDelay #DallasRain
