Bordeaux Châteaux | Saint-Émilion

A Super-Saving Guide Without Renting a Car 🚗 This trip to Bordeaux didn't involve too much planning for sightseeing. Compared to the city center of Bordeaux, I truly fell in love with the charming town of **Saint-Émilion**, which I learned about through my #WSET studies. It’s just a 30-minute train ride from Bordeaux! 🚂 Since the trip was a last-minute decision, I didn't consider renting a car. To my pleasant surprise, it turned out to be completely unnecessary! The **Bordeaux-Saint-Émilion** train takes only half an hour. But do check the schedule in advance! Allow yourself an extra 30 minutes to buy tickets and find the platform at the station. There won't be any staff around to ask for directions. 🕵️‍♂️ Once you arrive in the town, there's no need for a GPS. Just follow the crowd, and you'll reach the town center in no time. Then you can start shopping, eating, and drinking to your heart's content. 🛍️🍷 If you want to visit more châteaux and learn more, walk through the town to the vast vineyards. The surrounding area is dotted with châteaux where you can drop in and try your luck. Most offer tastings for 10-20€, with 3-5 glasses of wine. Knowledge is priceless, and it doesn't cost a thing! 🌟 Of course, if you want to visit specific châteaux, book in advance by email. If you just want to relax, drink, and have fun, there's no need to join a tour or rent a car. 🎉 #DescribeAutumnInOnePicture #WineLovers #FranceTravel #Bordeaux #FrenchWinemakerChâteauxGuide #SouthOfFrance #SouthOfFranceTravel #SaintEmilion #Châteaux #BordeauxWine #BordeauxChâteaux
