Bordeaux Gastronomy | Saint Julien 🍷
🌟Visiting wineries in Médoc? You can't miss the Saint Julien restaurant! This restaurant isn't Michelin-starred, but it's better than some Michelin experiences, located in the village of Saint Julien in Médoc, and the village name is also the restaurant's name. 🌟Diners here are mostly staff from nearby wineries, and at these prices, it's also a place frequented by winery executives or owners, especially since the restaurant is next to Château Montrose and Château Léoville Las Cases. 🌟The restaurant doesn't offer à la carte options; you can only order set menus, either appetizer + main course, or main course + dessert. Due to time constraints and based on our previous experience, we only ordered the appetizer + main course this time. The set menu price is 47€ per person, and if you have all three courses, the set menu price is 65€ per person. 🌟Before the appetizer, there's a complimentary Apéritif, which I believe was a tuna tartlet (if my memory serves me right). The appetizer was a whole large scallop wrapped in bacon, and after serving, the waiter will shave some truffles on top for you, full of ceremony. 🌟The main course that surprised me the most had a slice of bread at the bottom, grilled filet steak in the middle, and foie gras on top, all cooked to perfection. The foie gras was rich but not greasy, and the filet steak was so tender it melted in your mouth. 🌟Friends who want to check out this restaurant must make a reservation in advance, especially in the summer, you need to book well ahead, or there won't be any seats available. #FrenchLife #Gastronomy #HiddenGemRestaurants #AtmosphereRestaurants #BordeauxWine #Bordeaux
