Bordeaux Travel 🇫🇷: My Hidden Gem Destination

I came to study in Bordeaux, and I heard that it rains a lot 🌧️, thinking it might affect my mood. But after arriving, I found it to be an incredibly sunny and delightful city. My first recommendation for you all is: **Dune du Pilat | Pilat Dune** 🧳 **Before You Go:** Choose a sunny day, and you'll see the beautiful blue sea as in the picture. Wear shoes that are easy to take on and off. You can wear sandals because you can walk barefoot on the sand up the dune—it's really comfortable!! Bring sunglasses and sunscreen. The dune is quite high, and the sun is still very strong up there ☀️. Bring some change 💰, two euros, for the bus fare. 🚝 **Getting There:** Download the SNCF app to buy tickets. Take the train from Bordeaux to Arcachon. Once you get off at Arcachon station, you'll see the bus stop nearby. Buses number 3 and 101 both go directly to the Pilat Dune. Remember to bring two euros in cash for the round-trip bus ticket. 🪂 **What to Do:** There are mainly two destinations: 1️⃣ **The charming town of Le Moulleau**: On the way from Arcachon station to the Pilat Dune, there's a stop called Le Moulleau. It has a beautiful beach and many lovely little shops where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, and enjoy dining and oysters 🦪. You must try the oysters here! They are a must-have! 🌟 2️⃣ **Pilat Dune**: There's no entrance fee for the scenic area, but avoid going on Sundays as it's usually closed ‼️. Take the bus to the last stop, and you'll see a small path. Follow the path and the crowd, and you'll see the towering Pilat Dune. Then you can have fun exploring!
