Boston’s Hidden Gem for Date Nights and Cocktails

I’d be heartbroken if anyone hasn’t heard of Next Door Speakeasy & Raw Bar – it’s such a fun bar, perfect for couples on a date or girls’ night out. It’s ideal for a light drink to get that perfect buzz, especially in the summer. This bar is quite intriguing; you must make a reservation in advance. They’ll send you an email with a question, and the answer to that question is the password. To enter, you go through the courtyard at Pizza on Porter, knock on the door three times, and when asked for the password, if you answer correctly, you’re in! The cocktails are pretty good and very photogenic. 💫 Birdnest – This one is sweet and tangy with coconut and pineapple juice; it’s just right for someone like me who doesn’t drink much. 💫 Lock & Key – This one is presented in a box, and the waiter brings it over for you to open. The smoke can be a bit overwhelming, but the experience is nice – it’s a sweet little wine with a faint alcohol taste. 💫 The food is decent; we ordered Tuna Taco and Salmon Tartare. I prefer the latter – the crispy little biscuits paired with salmon and avocado are great. The average cost per person is about $60-80, with cocktails generally priced between$18-20 per drink. Parking around the area isn’t the best; it’s mostly permit-only street parking. I recommend reserving parking in advance using an app. #BostonFood #BostonLife #Bar #CoupleDate #HiddenGemRestaurant
