Boston’s Perfect 520 Date Spot!

The Dark and Stylish Japanese Restaurant Oishii 🌟 This place is probably one of the better Japanese restaurants in Boston. The overall taste is quite good, so I’ve been here many times before, always ordering à la carte. Today, I’m here to try their omakase. We ordered the 6 courses with truffle (265pp) and the 9 courses (280pp). The decor is a dark, American-style date night restaurant, offering a modern twist on traditional Japanese cuisine. There’s a large private room in the basement that seems like a great choice for birthdays! 🌟 The first dish to come out was marinated salmon, generously topped with black truffles and garnished with edible gold leaf. The presentation was sophisticated and honestly, it was quite impressive to see such effort from the very first course. 🌟 The mushroom risotto was topped with a piece of fatty tuna, also sprinkled with gold leaf and black truffles. I’m not too sure about this dish, but to each their own. We also ordered a single piece of fatty tuna, which was quite flavorful. 🌟 For dessert, the coconut sphere: a coconut-flavored ice ball shell with coffee-flavored cream inside, accompanied by some fruit. Very creative and enjoyable! Here are some more popular items to share: 🌟 Wagyu beef tartare: I absolutely love this dish! It’s a must-order every time. Served on a massive ice block with blue light, it’s a photo💯 winner! 🌟 Salmon on fire: I came to try this dish after seeing it on social media. It’s a signature dish that every table orders, with a soft and flavorful texture. Both sets are quite substantial. The 9 courses include 3 additional plates of pickled sashimi (I actually prefer the plain version), and the wagyu is their signature Wagyu Beef Ishiyaki (cooked in a stone pot for 10 seconds). The 6-course set comes with a large, fatty piece of wagyu. For ladies, I think the six courses are quite enough to eat. Overall, their à la carte menu offers good value for money. Without alcohol, the average cost is just over 100 yuan per person, while the omakase is over 300 yuan. #EveryMomentIsWorthRecording #WhereToGoOnTheWeekend #BostonLife #USA #BirthdayRestaurant #DateNightRestaurant #InteriorDesign #Restaurant #WeekendExploration #NewYork #Happy #JapaneseCuisine #America
