Finally made it to Komugi, a spot I’d been wanting to try for a while. I picked up three different breads, and honestly—the price did catch me off guard. Each one averages around $4.50, which is on the pricier side. The standout here is the mochi-like chewy texture 🍡—if you love that soft, bouncy bite, you’ll probably enjoy it. Another noticeable trait is how lightly sweet and subtly flavored everything is 🍃. If you’re expecting rich, sweet traditional Japanese bread, it might taste a bit plain. Considering both the cost and flavor profile, I likely won’t make a special trip back—more of a one-time visit for me.
