Boston's Alive & Kicking Lobsters Lobster Exploration

🦞 Check-in at Boston’s Viral Lobster Spot|Alive & Kicking Lobsters (Near Harvard University) 📍 Address: 269 Putnam Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139 We went early on a Saturday afternoon and didn’t have to wait in line. The shop was pretty much filled with Chinese customers—definitely had that “international student canteen” vibe 😂 ✅ 2 Steamed Lobsters + Steamers (For Here) The lobsters were on the smaller side, probably just enough for someone with a light appetite. 💰 $45.95 🍽️ Served with: corn, steamed clams, butter dipping sauce, and lobster broth (the broth portion was generous). Honest Experience (Straight Talk on Pros and Cons) 👍 Pros: The price is relatively acceptable for Boston lobster spots. It’s not too far from Harvard, perfect for a casual visit while in the area. The open-air, no-frills setting feels very local and is nice on a good-weather day. 👎 Cons: The outdoor restroom isn’t very convenient—only basic handwashing is possible. No metal crackers provided! You have to rely on your teeth and hand strength to crack the shells… it can get pretty tiring 🫠. The lobster meat quality is average for Boston—nothing particularly impressive. Personal Ranking of Similar Restaurants ⭐️ Yankee Lobster (5/5) > The Barking Crab (4/5) > Alive & Kicking (3.5/5) Overall Rating 🌟 3.5/5 (Average for Boston lobster joints: edible, Instagrammable, but not worth a special trip.) #BostonFood #BostonLobster #HarvardUniversity #StudyInUSA #XiaohongshuFoodReview
