Boston's Must-Visit Spot

Yafa Bakery & Café 📍 594 Somerville Ave, Somerville, MA 02143 After trying this place, I finally understand what that impressive 4.9🌟 rating from thousands of Google reviews really means! 🧁 Pistachio & Ricotta Cake My absolute favorite! It completely shattered my stereotypes about Middle Eastern desserts ~ Both sweetness and oiliness were lower than expected, with a texture like ice cream cake 🍦 The ricotta layer in the middle makes the cake extra airy, and the pistachio flavor is incredibly rich! 🍪 Valencia Pistachio Cookie The shell has an aromatic pistachio flavor, filled with Nutella 🍫 Indeed, what Middle Eastern bakeries do best is pistachio ~ the same cookie with coconut flavor instantly becomes ordinary. 🍫 Napoli Dessert Chocolate coating wrapped around pistachio cream, topped with crushed pistachios Layered and rich, sweet but not cloying 😋 🍯 Baklava Although I recognize this is very well-made, I still can't quite acquire the taste... It feels like a reduced-sugar version, but much milder compared to my experience in Turkey where I felt like needing insulin with every bite! 🍋 Lemonada Refreshing and appetizing - love at first sip! The tangy lemon and cool mint blend perfectly 🌿 In winter, highly recommend their richly spiced Chai Latte ~ 💁 The staff attitude is exceptionally kind, constantly offering samples to taste They handed us baklava immediately upon entering, and we sampled two different drinks ~ However, the dine-in seating is somewhat dirty, recommend taking away! #BostonDesserts #MiddleEasternCuisine #HighlyRatedGem #PistachioLover
