Boston's Must-Visit Spots 2/100 ๐ฟ
Pemberton Farms Marketplace ๐Address: 2225 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02140 ๐ ฟ๏ธ Free parking in their own lot Whenever Iโm in Cambridge with a little extra time, I love stopping by Pemberton Farms. Even if I donโt buy anything, wandering among the plants always gives me such good energy ๐ธ๐ฟ. While I usually get fresh-cut flowers from Trader Joeโs, Pemberton is my go-to for potted plants โ great variety and fair prices! In winter, only one greenhouse is open, but once it warms up, the entire yard fills with plants ๐. By midsummer, they even sell starter plants like tomatoes, cucumbers, and basil โ perfect for transplanting at home ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฑ. Pemberton also hosts fun plant-themed events! Recently, they offered a Mushroom Cultivation for Beginners workshop ๐, and during Halloween, they hold pumpkin carving contests ๐. (I used to think of Pemberton as just a garden center, but then a follower told me their sandwiches are delicious ๐! Turns out they also focus on gourmet groceries โ definitely trying next time!) On the way from Pemberton to Mommaโs, youโll pass a row of cute shops including Curio Spice โ a specialty spice shop ๐ง. Their blends are also sold at Mommaโs and Boston General Store. Well worth a visit if you're into unique flavors! #BostonGuide #CambridgeMA #PembertonFarms #PlantLover #BostonLocal #GardenMarket #BostonSpots
