Boston General Store 📍Address: 305 Harvard St, Brookline, MA 02446 This is my favorite general store in Boston — I’ve been coming here since undergrad, and their curation remains absolutely exceptional! From fragrances 🕯️, gourmet foods 🍯, stationery & planners 📒, to eco-friendly cleaning supplies 🧼… they truly have it all. Every time I step inside, I end up buying at least one or two things — it’s impossible to resist! My top pick? French paper-based fragrances — perfect to light after a meal 🍽️✨. They fill the room with the most soothing aroma in no time. The Brookline area around Harvard Street is a vibe — so many great shops within walking distance: 🍦 Far Out Ice Cream 🧸 Tiny Hanger for Jellycat fans 🥩 Maruichi for fresh Wagyu 🎬 Coolidge Corner Theatre for indie films It’s literally a one-stop destination for all my cravings! Next on my list: trying the crêperie nearby — can’t wait to see how it is! 🤞 There are actually two Boston General Store locations — I’ve only been to this one.
