Boston's Super Aesthetic Date Night Restaurant
Thanks to a friend, I finally got to check out Boston's trendy new photogenic spot—Amar! I'd always hesitated after seeing countless comments calling it "all atmosphere, terrible food." Portuguese cuisine is pretty uncommon here, so I came to see for myself! 🦐 Seafood Tower was okay—the shrimp cocktail was plump and crisp, and the giant geoduck clam on top was unique. 🦞 Lobster Pasta had a tangy profile, not greasy, and isn't your traditional pasta preparation. (Some NYC friends said it's better than New York pasta...???) 🥩 Steak was overwhelmingly salty on the outside. 🐟 Seafood Stew had tender fish and a flavorful broth—pretty good. Everything else was just average, nothing memorable. 🍫 Chocolate Cake with a hint of smokiness was a pleasant surprise! So... like, who exactly is saying Amar is delicious? Oh my gosh...😅 The ambiance is truly beautiful—perfect for a romantic date. High-floor night views overlook the city lights, and right at the entrance is the Raffles spiral staircase and Christmas tree🎄, with tons of pretty girls taking photos. 📍 Amar 💰 Around $180 per person—and we left just full enough (you be the judge of the value). #BostonEats #WhatToEatInBoston #BostonLife #BostonDateNight #VibesyRestaurant #BostonAestheticFood #BostonFoodExploration #BostonFoodReview
