Boqueria Seaport 🥘🍷 Recommended: 3.5🌟 Average cost: $50+ Boqueria is a Spanish cuisine restaurant in Boston that has been open for less than six months, located in Seaport, near ICA. The ambiance is a blend of romantic and a touch of industrial, perfect for a formal date or a casual drink. Drink: The sangria here is the most authentic and smooth I’ve had in Boston, comparable to the local taverns in Barcelona. The selection of cocktails is extensive, offering a variety of classic and creative options, making it a must-visit bar. Food: We ordered the classic tapas Gambas and clams, along with a medium seafood rice dish. The pros are that the medium portion of seafood rice is just right for two people, not too large. The con is that the overall cuisine heavily relies on lemon 🍋, so every dish has a sour taste (an innovation?). The food gets a passing grade, but I’ll introduce what I consider the best Spanish cuisine in Boston next time. 😝 Overall, I’d recommend it more for drinks, chat, and some Tapas rather than a full meal. The key is the ambiance, the restaurant is new, and it’s close to ICA, worth a visit. #BostonFood #BostonSpanishCuisine #FirstSangriaOfTheYear #NewBostonRestaurants #BostonSeaport
