Boston | OMG! The Tripe in Spanish Cuisine is Absolutely Incredible 😭
🍴 ZURiTO 📍 26 Charles St, Boston, MA 02114 A new Spanish restaurant just opened near Boston Public Garden~ The interior is beautifully designed with a fresh, modern decor that creates a perfect ambiance ✨ Seating is limited, so highly recommend making reservations in advance‼️ The overall flavors were decent - not as impressive as Toro, but a few dishes truly stood out. It ranks as an above-average Spanish restaurant in Boston. 🍖 Lomo The cured ham was leaner and more fragrant, perfectly complemented by a sweet tomato sauce - well-balanced and not greasy. 🧀 Idiazabál The cheese had a firm texture with a subtle smoky aroma and no gaminess at all. Paired wonderfully with the ham! 🥚 Gulas con Huevo de Codorniz ❌ Total disappointment! The eel was too fishy, barely edible... 🍄 Hongos y Setas A bit too salty with insufficient umami, not as good as Toro's version. 🐮 Carrillera Braised beef cheek~ The sauce was incredibly fragrant! The meat was tender and gelatinous - pure bliss with every bite 😋 🐮 Kallos y Sidra 💯 The star of the night! Slightly sweet and sour, tender and flavorful - surprisingly reminiscent of Chinese cooking methods, unexpectedly delicious! 🥩 Solomillo The medium steak was slightly overcooked but still tender. Lacked some aroma, but was acceptable. 🍹 Butter Sooner Than Later The sweet wine was too sugary, barely any alcohol taste came through - a bit disappointing. 💰 Average per person: $60 #BostonEats #BostonFoodie #BostonLife #SpanishCuisine #BostonRestaurants #StudyAbroadLife #FoodReview #BostonWeekend
