Boston | The Capital Grille
Just remembered to recommend The Capital Grille, which I tried back in late September. There were eight of us, and we ordered a lot—everyone had an appetizer and at least one main course. I’ll only comment on the dishes I personally tried. 🥗 Starter Tuna Tartare with Avocado, Mango & Sriracha Highly recommended! The tuna and avocado were incredibly fresh, tender, and flavorful. Served with crispy crackers, it was absolutely delicious—definitely a must-order! 🍽️ Main Course Sliced Filet Mignon with Cipollini Onions, Wild Mushrooms & Fig Essence I ordered mine medium. The steak was pre-sliced, cooked evenly, and very tender. The wild mushrooms were fragrant and complemented the meat well—though I wasn’t a big fan of the onions. Overall, no major complaints. Recommended! 🍰 Dessert Classic Crème Brûlée & Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake These desserts were pre-ordered by my boyfriend’s mom. The plate was thoughtfully decorated with “congratulations,” making it perfect for birthdays or romantic celebrations—very photo-friendly! The crème brûlée was classic: a crisp caramelized sugar top and smooth, creamy vanilla custard underneath, balanced with fresh berries to avoid being overly sweet. The flourless chocolate espresso cake was rich in chocolate flavor, slightly bitter but not too sweet, with a subtle coffee note. Really tasty—recommended! Overall, the food here is consistently good—no disappointments. The service was also excellent, making it a great choice for birthdays or romantic dates. 📍 Address: 900 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02115 #BostonFood#BostonFineDining#BostonLife#Boston#BostonStudyAbroad#BostonExploration#BostonFun
