Boston | Who says this 🐷 is spicy? This rib chop is awesome 😍

📍 Yvonne’s A place near Boston Common, parking is a bit tricky. You need to make a reservation in advance. I booked three weeks ahead but got a pretty bad table. 🍄‍🟫 Maitake Mushroom Toast The baguette at the bottom is aromatic and crispy, but the mushrooms on top are too salty. 🦑 Blue Corn Calamari The squid inside is very tender, and the crust is crispy. The slightly spicy dipping sauce is not greasy either. 🫓 Tunisian Chicken The chicken is a bit scarce, but the cheese is generously portioned. The whole little pie tastes like cheese, a bit dizzy… 🐷 Grilled Viper Chop The pork ribs are super tender! Juicy with every bite. Every piece of meat is bone-in, super flavorful. The light smoky flavor with the fat is not at all greasy. The fried rice at the bottom with chili sauce and chopped onions is also full marks. The overall kimchi flavor is not very strong, and the fried rice is not too salty either. 💰 Average cost: $92🔪 The appetizers were all decent, the only highlight was the chop. The restaurant has several halls, some of which are very beautiful. Many people come here to celebrate birthdays; it’s advisable to confirm with the restaurant in advance. I booked three weeks ahead but got a basement table… The decor vibe was pretty bad when I got there, and the overall experience was just okay. Plus, the service was particularly bad… the waitstaff were pretty much invisible the whole time. I had a reservation for 8:45, but we weren’t let in until 9:10.
