Boston Allston Thai Cuisine! Super delicious pork neck 🤤

Laughing Monk Cafe, I’ve tried this place before in Wellesley, but it wasn’t that great, more like American-style Thai food. This time, eating in Allston finally felt like I got it right ❗️ It’s really delicious 😋 I feel like there are few misses with Thai food in Boston, highly recommended ❗️ But be sure to stick to the Allston location! 1️⃣ Kor Moo Yang - Grilled Pork Neck ($19.00) Charcoal-grilled marinated pork neck with a spicy dipping sauce. Super delicious, my absolute top recommendation. It’s very fragrant and not too greasy, the sauce is just right, and it comes with cucumber and lettuce. 2️⃣ Khao Soi - Beef Tendon Egg Noodles ($19.00) Egg noodles, beef tendon, yellow curry, served with crispy egg noodles. It has a bit of a fish sauce flavor, but quite distinctive, and it comes with a generous amount of vegetables like broccoli 🥦 and rapini. The tendon is tender and delicious. 3️⃣ Panang Nuar Nong Lai - Curry Beef Shank ($19.00) Boneless beef shank with curry and coconut milk, a generous portion of beef shank, and it’s super tender. Rice is not included and needs to be ordered separately. The side dish is bell pepper 🫑. 4️⃣ Mango Sticky Rice ($7.95) The mango 🥭 might be in season, so it’s very sweet. Normal level. 5️⃣ Thai Iced Green Tea (Cha Khiew) ($5.00) Opt for iced green tea if you don’t want something too sweet like Thai iced tea; the sweetness is just right. 6️⃣ Thai Iced Tea ($5.00) Lots of ice 🧊 and on the sweet side. The venue is quite small with not many tables. The decor is quite unique. 💰 Average cost: $25 🅿️ Parking: There’s street parking/2Hrs parking lot nearby. #BostonLife #Boston #BostonFood #Allston #ThaiFood #BostonFood #USA #FoodHunting #Boston
