๐ Boston Area | Yale Peabody Museum Reopens
๐ The Yale Peabody Museum has undergone a renovation and finally reopened to the public for free at the end of March this year. Currently, no reservation is needed, and you can visit directly during the specified hours. ๐ For natural history museums, we always maintain a mindset that more is better. Especially in winter, when itโs hard to figure out where to kill time. Although Yaleโs museum isnโt as large as Harvardโs natural history museum, it has its own unique features. ๐ The museum has a total of three floors. The first floor is mainly the dinosaur exhibit, showcasing mainly dinosaur fossils, marine life evolution, plant and animal changes, and human evolutionary history. Kids who love studying dinosaurs can browse for a long time, with simple descriptions for each exhibit. Of course, you can also download a mobile app for more detailed information. ๐ On the third floor, itโs mainly about minerals and live plants and animals. The evolution and formation of minerals and their impact on the Earth are showcased. The vibrant colors of different minerals are quite striking for kids. The frog exhibit on the third floor is particularly captivating for kids, with bright colors and deadly poisons, offering a wide variety of species. ๐ The second floor is relatively dry for children, mainly exhibiting ancient civilizations and cultures. If youโre not interested, you donโt need to spend too much time there. ๐ The entire museum is not large and can be thoroughly explored in about 2 hours. There are also some temporary exhibits inside, with different exhibits at different times. ๐ซ Admission: Free ๐ ฟ๏ธ Parking: There is a dedicated parking lot, making it easy to park ๐ Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm #AmericanLife #BostonLife #BostonWeekend #BostonWithKids #BostonOutskirts #BostonFoodAndFun #ConnecticutLife #ConnecticutWeekend #Yale #NewHaven
