πŸ§— Boston Climbing for Beginners πŸ§—

πŸ“ MetroRock Climbing Center, Everett As the snow season ended, I’ve been exploring summer sports in Boston, and today I gave climbing a try for the first time. It was quite an experience! 🌟 The venue is huge, with a small section for auto belays and the majority being rope climbs, but it’s still beginner-friendly. My upper and lower body strength isn’t great, but I tried the easier routes a few times and managed to reach the top before I finished! After some research, I learned that the key to climbing is not to use your arms and hands too much, but to treat your hands like hooks and lean back with your upper body. This really does save a lot of energy! 🀩 🎫 No need to make a reservation, just walk in. You can wear your own sports shoes or rent climbing shoes. Just come in your workout gear, and before you start, the instructor will give a briefing and demonstration. Everyone is very nice, and there are many kids at the camp who look super impressive! #BostonLife #BostonExploration #BostonClimbing #BostonClimbingGym #Boston #BostonSurroundings
