🌞 Boston Day Trip | Railbike Adventure in Kennebunk, Maine 🚲✨

We planned a quick visit to a cute Maine town but ended up on an **unexpected 3.5-hour railbike adventure**—totally messing up our schedule! 😅 But guess what? The kiddo LOVED it! 👶❤️ Kennebunk is a charming coastal town with **boutique shops, seafood spots, and popular ice cream joints** along Main Street. 🍦🛍️ But instead of hitting the beach or restaurants, we spent most of our time at the **Seashore Trolley Museum**—an **open-air trolley museum** (the world’s **first & largest**!). 🚎🏛️ Train-obsessed kids (and adults!) will geek out here! We also booked a **Railbike Ride**—something we’d wanted to try in Newport, RI, but ended up experiencing in Maine first! 🚴‍♀️🌿 The ride was **easier than expected**: we got a **4-seater** (Dad controlled the brakes in the back, while kiddo and I "helped" pedal up front—though let’s be real, the little one just enjoyed the ride 😆). The **scenery was meh in summer**, but I bet it’s **gorgeous in fall**! 🍂 Round trip took ~1 hour—super chill! The **museum itself is HUGE**, with **two massive warehouse exhibits** filled with **historic trolleys** (you can board most of them!). 🚋💨 My favorite? A **vintage sightseeing trolley**—imagine cruising around town in that beauty today! Outside, there are **old abandoned buses**—kiddo went **nuts** exploring them! 🤩 After the museum, we hit **Goose Rocks Beach** around 4 PM—**water was warm, sand was soft**, but parking was pricey! 🌊 (Pro tip: Get a **permit** if street parking!) **Ticket Prices:** 🎟️ General Admission: $15/adult, $13/6–16yo, $7/3–5yo 🚲 Railbike: $60/2-seater, $100/4-seater (*includes museum entry!*) #BostonKids #BostonDayTrip #MaineAdventures #HiddenGems #FamilyFun
